What’s Chelation Therapy?
In a medical context, chelation therapy refers to the administration of specific chemical compounds—known as chelating agents—that act like molecular claws to bind with toxic metal ions in the body.
Once administered, these chelating agents circulate in the bloodstream and attach to heavy metals stored in tissues or fluids. The agent forms a stable, water-soluble ring complex with the metal ion, rendering it chemically inert (non-reactive).
Because the bound complex is now water-soluble and non-toxic, the body can safely filter it out through the kidneys and excrete it via urine or bile.
Does It Really Work?
It could be useful if someone got in contact with high levels of heavy metals during construction work or in a warehouse where they manipulate those metals. However, I assume they have the necessary equipment to safely handle such metals, as they are highly toxic. I can’t state anything specific.
For the average individual like you looking to detox heavy metals, it wouldn’t be useful because those chelation agents will only attract heavy metals that are in your bloodstream.
Your body is a highly intelligent machine; it won’t allow heavy metal particles to roam in your bloodstream. It’s gonna neutralize them with antioxidants like selenium (if you have enough) or push them into your fat cells, your internal “safe vault” for toxicity.
Do You Really Need It?
Urine Test
How do you even know if you have heavy metals to detoxify? That’s a billion-dollar question! According to the Toronto Functional Medicine Center, and I quote from their website:
Health care providers are able to conduct a toxic elements panel, which is a urine test. Depending on your test results, additional tests may be recommended. Your urine test can indicate how much metal your body currently holds. This urine test compares your urine prior to and after consuming a chelating agent.
So they think that a simple urine test will tell them if you have heavy metals stored in your body. Unfortunately, it’s A LOT more complex than that; they have no clue what they’re talking about.
For the last 4 years of my life, the only thing that I did was detoxing toxic chemicals from my body, like heavy metals. So, I can tell you from experience that a chelation agent will only work in the bloodstream, not in the rest of your body.
As mentioned above, heavy metals will be stored in your fat cells, so doing a urine test won’t reveal anything, unless you had very recent exposure, and you do the urine test on the same day, that’s very unlikely anyway.
Hair Test
The other option is to do a hair test, and it’s more accurate than a urine test, but a bit expensive, ranging from 150-300$. It’s also time-consuming because you need to cut a small amount of your hair, mail it to the toxicology lab, and they will analyze it for trace minerals (including heavy metals) and let you know your results on a graph after 1-3 weeks.
The main problem with hair tests is that even if you do it, you don’t actually know what healthy vs unhealthy levels are in your results. Planet Earth has become so polluted that almost everyone will have a tiny trace amount of heavy metals in their hair.
I analyzed mine 10 years ago with my municipal Canadian toxicology lab, and their chart wasn’t even accurate. The healthy range didn’t make any sense. I had to look up an American chart from an independent American lab.
On my Canadian chart, the only heavy metal with an unhealthy level was antimony. With the American chart, my mercury, lead and aluminum levels were higher than the “healthy norm”.

What To do Then?
If urine tests are not accurate and hair test expensive and time-consuming, what are we supposed to do then? We can test any levels of heavy metal with energy, and long distance, because energy is not restricted by time or space.
Nikola Tesla said 200 years ago that everything holds an energy field, and he was right. Heavy metals are physical matter, so we can evaluate their energy. And no, it’s not black magic, it’s just energy. It doesn’t work for everything.
I use a copper pendulum/muscle testing to do that, and scale it from 1 to 10, for the degree of severity.
That’s the only effective, accurate and fast method that I found. Book a FREE consult below, and you will see for yourself.
The Professional Way Of Chelating Heavy Metals
Once you evaluate toxic levels of metals by energetic testing and not guessing, you need to start detoxing. How do you safely detoxify heavy metals without causing harm to your body? That’s now a trillion-dollar question!
Detoxing heavy metals is not a 24h recipe or whatever the “internet experts” like Anthony William from Medical Medium are saying. You won’t detox heavy metals with a “detox smoothie” containing bananas, blueberries and cilantro.
The body doesn’t like work like that. The internet gurus never had high amounts of heavy metals in their own bodies to know; they are just guessing here and there. I know because I tested them.
You detox heavy metals mainly with ANTIOXIDANT minerals like selenium. Selenium is the “main” one as it’s the one performing the action of neutralizing (binding) the heavy metal. 1 molecule is positively charged, and the other one has to be negatively charged.
However, the human body is much more complex than that. Millions of chemical reactions are necessary to remove a tiny amount of, let’s say, mercury, not just selenium or other antioxidants.
What Else Is Needed?
The short answer is EVERYTHING. You detox heavy metals with your WHOLE BODY, so you need EVERYTHING. Your body is composed of many systems, and every system does something different for the detoxification process. The brain, the lymphatic system, the heart, the arteries, the blood, the liver, the kidneys, the lungs, the spleen, etc.
That’s why this is a trillion-dollar question. You can study detoxification for 30 years alone and still not understand anything. Just look at the doctors, clueless.
What About Nutrient Deficiencies?
Your body is as strong as your weakest link. I repeat that, YOUR BODY IS AS STRONG AS YOUR WEAKEST LINKS. What does that mean? It means that if you have a magnesium deficiency, for example, and magnesium is required for almost every chemical reaction in your body, you will be compromised from the start, and even more if you’re planning to detox heavy metals.
So, you also need to test for nutrient deficiencies FIRST to see what your body is missing. There’s a total of 13 vitamins and 21 minerals. Yes, the body is utilizing 34 nutrients every day, like magnesium, sodium, B vitamins, C, E, etc. You can see the complete list in our other article:
And Body Organs?
Are the body’s organs, such as the liver and kidneys, used to detoxify heavy metals? Of course! As mentioned above, it’s a whole system process, not just 1 thing working.
So you also need to test for organ problems to make sure that your own organs don’t need to detox first before handling the job of neutralizing heavy metals.
Your body stores heavy metals and any other toxicity in fat cells to keep you alive. Fat cells are a “safe vault” to protect other vital parts of your body.
The health gurus think that you need to detox heavy metals from “your organs”. If you had just a tiny trace amount of lead or mercury in your liver, you would be DEAD within a few hours or days.
I know this because when I injected myself with the 2nd covid vaccine containing highly toxic chemicals, I started having unbearable pain under my chest, where the liver is located. If I didn’t have powerful antioxidants at home, I would have died. I was in excruciating pain, as if something was eating me from the inside.

Testing Your Food
What about the daily food that you’re eating? Is that also important for heavy metal detox? YES, you detoxify heavy metals with nutrients that you’re absorbing from food.
Depending on how much you want to detox, there’s always more than you think. We will evaluate ALL the QUALITY of the food that you’re eating and what you should cut or eat more of.

Testing Your Supplements
Do you detoxify heavy metals with food only, or are there also useful supplements out there? 😉
Of course there are! Since your body is not naturally supposed to have heavy metals, isolated nutrients will be needed to boost levels of whatever you need at the moment, like flavonoids, a category of powerful antioxidants. We will evaluate that and guide you through the whole protocol.
90 % of supplements on the market are of bad quality. So, we also need to test all the supplements that you’re taking and suggest you upgrade. Taking a bad quality supplement does more harm than good. It’s not just about gulping whatever supplement you have at home; it’s a specific science, and quality matters.
